homebrew club is pleased to announce our 14th Annual World Cup of Beer homebrew
competition. The 2008 World Cup of Beer continues our tradition of

We have great prizes and
awards for all winners. After the judging, we’ll host a party at the Trumer Brauerei in
World Cup judges will be judging all styles and sub-styles of beer in BJCP categories 1 through 19 and 22 (see BJCP web link below for more information on these categories). Beers (and Meads) in other styles will be judged, but will not qualify for MCAB.
The 2008 World Cup of Beer is a regional qualifying event for the Masters Championship of Amateur Brewing (MCAB), a national homebrew competition dedicated to providing the finest judging. To enter the MCAB, you must win a first place in an MCAB qualifying style in one of the dozen or so MCAB qualifying events. MCAB qualifying styles this year are BJCP categories 1-19 & 22.

Our 14th Annual World Cup is sanctioned by the American Homebrewers Association and the Beer Judge Certification Program.
